The USA College of Medicine is an integral part of the USA Health System, a vibrant and expanding academic medical community providing medical education, research and patient care. In addition to the College of Medicine, the USA Health System includes two hospitals and approximately 25 outpatient care centers located strategically around the community. USA Children's and Women's Hospital , located in midtown Mobile, is one of only a few freestanding hospitals in the United States dedicated specifically to the care of children and women. USA Medical Center is the core teaching hospital within our system. Many of the specialty services such as the Trauma Center and USA Burn Center are located at this facility.
